Simpsons D'ohnut

Online shopping is my hamartia. If my life were a Greek myth my final epic battle would be at it's climax right now: the fatal choice of buying groceries or giving into Modcloth's 50% off Black Friday sale.  Looks like Christmas gifts this year will be handmade, which is the opposite of a problem. I used polymer clay to make the d'ohnut brooch, something I'll have to replicate as a magnet for my Simpsons obsessed father (and hey dad, in case you're reading this, pretend to be surprised at your present). My life is at it's up most happiest (exception of today, when bus goers spoiled my happiness high) and I don't want to say that someone's the reason for that, but maybe they are. And maybe it's also the fact that I'm superpiduper into writing again! My Simpsons Moleskin is getting scribbled on probable misspelled ideas and brainstorming sessions. The characters I write are getting more and more real to me it's like we're hanging out. Begging for a giant dry/erase board for my birthday (November 29th, ps) so that I can have an abundance of hardcore smelly marker idea fests.

I should also talk about my clothes here too. This outfit is pretty inspired by @madisonsteward and her cute vibes. It's almost entirely from SheInside, which has been a super hit or miss site for me. The cheap prices make me repeatedly shop there, but this order came with a pink dress when I ordered a gold one, and not to mention the dresses are designed too short to wear without shorts underneath. Big butt problems. On the plus side, I'm super happy with their vintage selection, and now own a few dresses I can only wear for my photography lifestyle, since they're so fancy I can't fathom an occasion I'd be able to be seen in public with them. The fabrics they use aren't cheap, and they have fast responding customer service too. On the fence. Also, apparently buying yourself clothing with owls on it is bad luck, but frankly, I've received the best of luck since she came in. She's also the softest shirt I've bought online. Still on that fence.

D'ohnut was handmade, comment (or message me on tumblr) if you want to buy one and that can be arranged!
